One of the oldest towns in Finland, Naantali was founded around the mediaeval Brigittine convent, the church of which still dominates its skyline. Most homes are on the mainland area, but there's a lovely wooded island connected by a boardwalk thru the marina. The island has Moominworld, a theme park for children all about the Moomin cartoon family that is extremely popular in Sweden and Finland.
